Why is Language Learning Hard?
Simple Ways to make it Easier

There is a lot to say about language learning but it helps to start with one observation:

You cannot learn and remember what you don't fully understand

Pretty obvious on the surface, but what does it mean in the context of taking your Chinese classes? If you look at a new text and feel a bit shaky one some of these things:
  • you can see the definition of the new words but still can't figure out the meaning of the sentence
  • you can't quite remember some of the past words you are supposed to have learned in past lessons
  • you can't quite see how characters form the words
When that happens, you are doomed. It destroys your ability to really assimilate the text and remember the new words or expressions.

What we have done with FullChinese, is allowing you to access information about the text, and words in that text, instantaneously. It gives you the definition of -- every -- word and character but also the translation of -- every -- sentence fragment. It also gives you access to the recording of the text one fragment at a time.

It is currently running on  iPhone, iPad and Android (BETA)
